Trivia: For what police force did Sgt Preston work? If you said the RCMP, you're wrong, sorry to say. He worked for the Northwest Mounted Police, the force that predated the RCMP.
Even more trivia: Sgt Preston's theme song was the Overture to Donna Diana (a light opera), by Emil Reznicek.
