The house on the corner has the most beautiful azaleas I have ever seen. There colors are so vibrant. What is an azalea, you ask? Azaleas are of various shrubs of the genus Rhododendron having showy, variously colored flowers. Greek azale, from feminine of azaleos, dry (so called because it grows in dry soil or from the texture of its wood).
