Somedays you just have to grasp the burning rod and embrace the pain.
The blisters won't last forever.
An uncomfortable sensation, often caused by the good fortune of one someone dislikes.
Some think of pain as color – a blue pain, for example, or a checkered pain.
Some think of it in terms of music – a pain like a trombone, or a piccolo.
And pain in the past tense, recalled, often has an almost academic aura about it.
But pain in the here-and-now, at this very moment – Aiyiyi. It cannot be rationalisec.
