In my dreams, I am constantly descending a curving stairway in the dark. Only the candle I hold in my left hand gives any light. But I know the direction I must take.

A stairway of sharp angles, solidly built. One sees that the angels must spring down from one step to the next, giving a little lift of the wings.
The top of the stairway disappears into the darkness of the second floor. There are cobwebs between the posts, and the carpet on the steps is worn and threadbare. This house is full of secrets. Are you brave enough to find out what hides in the dark at the top of the stairway?
